This Agreement may be amended by us at any time and from time to time without specific notice to you. The latest Agreement will be posted on the Site, and you should review this Agreement prior to using the Site.

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this Website. It assists us in providing the best possible service to you for our respective commitments and responsibilities to one another to be clearly defined at the point of sale. These commitments are set out below and we request that you read them.

Each product sold is subject to its respective product description, which includes additional specific conditions related to that product, such as, but not limited to, terms concerning estimated delivery times and after-sales service. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products displayed on the website are accurate at the time the information is entered into the system. Please note that images are for illustration purposes only.


Purchase of Products

Purchase of Products The order process is as follows: You place an order for your products on the Website by clicking the purchase button at the end of the checkout process. We will then send you an order acknowledgment email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Beechmount Furniture Limited. As your product is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you a dispatch confirmation email.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will occur when the Products ordered are dispatched to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the provided instructions.

Non-acceptance of an order may occur due to one of the following reasons:

  1. The product you ordered is unavailable from stock.
  2. We are unable to obtain authorization for your payment.
  3. There is an identified error in pricing or product description.
  4. You do not meet the eligibility criteria to order set out in the main Terms & Conditions.

The contract will be concluded in English. If any of the above situations arise, we will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity.


Payment

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time the information is entered into the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus any delivery charges as outlined in the delivery section of this Website. Payment can be made using any of the methods specified in the payment section of this website. Payment will be debited from your account and cleared upon order. All goods must be paid for in full before delivery. You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If your payment card issuer refuses or does not authorize payment to us for any reason, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.


Pricing errors

In the unlikely event that a pricing error is detected, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to either cancel your order or reconfirm it at the correct price.

If we are unable to reach you using the contact details you provided, we will treat the order as cancelled. A refund will be processed, and we will confirm this by email.

Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 14 days.


Amendments

If you need to make a change to your order before delivery, please contact the salesperson and inform them of the item to be changed. If the item in question has been specially ordered for you, we regret that it cannot be cancelled as production will have already commenced. You are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind. Any agreed refunds will be issued by cheque and sent to you within 7 working days


Delivery

It is your responsibility to inform us at the time of ordering your furniture of any difficulties that may be encountered when delivering to your property. Ensure this information is documented in our online checkout process or sent in writing to sales@beechmountfurniture.com, quoting your order number and billing address.

Safe access to the chosen room must be ensured, and the route should be clear. Any costs incurred to facilitate delivery, such as door or window removal, will not be the responsibility of Beechmount Furniture Limited. We are only responsible for delivery to your front door. While we provide delivery and lead times in good faith, we cannot be held accountable for any direct or indirect loss due to reasonable delays or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

If a piece of furniture cannot be delivered due to access issues or missed delivery appointments, it will remain the customer's responsibility. Any further delivery attempts by Beechmount Furniture Limited will incur an additional delivery charge.

To change the delivery address of your order, please contact your salesperson. Beechmount Furniture Limited must be notified of any cancellation of booked deliveries at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Deliveries cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery as the goods are loaded the afternoon before.

We operate an “all day” delivery policy. If you contact us after 10 am on the morning of your delivery, we can provide you with the delivery driver's telephone number. The driver will give you an approximate delivery time, but factors such as traffic congestion, breakdowns, and inclement weather can affect this timing. If you require your furniture to be placed in a specific room, we are happy to do so; however, we cannot accept liability for any property damage that might occur as a result.


Assembly

All bed frames and tables are delivered unassembled. If you require us to assemble any item you purchase, we can arrange this for you at an additional charge .


Cooling-off period

You are entitled to a cooling-off period of 14 days, starting on the day you receive the goods. For services, the cooling-off period begins on the day the distance selling contract is concluded.

During this cooling-off period, you can cancel your order without providing a reason and without incurring charges or penalties, except for possible charges related to returning the goods.


How do I return a product after delivery?

We are committed to providing great value, high-quality furniture and accessories. We hope you enjoy our products, but we understand that there may be times when you need to exchange or return something you've purchased. We are happy to exchange your purchase (under the conditions of our returns policy below) as long as it is unopened and in its original packaging. This option is available for 14 days after delivery. However, any faults with the item must be reported to us within 24 hours of your delivery or collection date. For hygiene reasons, mattresses cannot be returned if unsealed.

If you prefer, we can arrange to collect the items for you. A collection fee of €149 will be charged for this service.


Conditions of our returns policy

Cancellations for made-to-order items must be made within 14 days from the date your order was placed.

To receive a refund, you must take proper care of the goods. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to refuse the refund or deduct a charge based on the condition of the goods. Refunds for made-to-order items are not possible unless you cancel them in accordance with your rights, or they are faulty or not as described. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Your refund will be processed as soon as possible and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day you have given us notice of cancellation or returned the items.

Until the goods are returned to us, you are responsible for them, including if the goods are lost, damaged, or destroyed. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. Failure to comply with this obligation may give us a right of action against you for compensation.

We will issue a refund using the same method of payment originally used by you for your purchase.

If goods are delivered to a third party and you are unable to return them to us, you may not be entitled to a refund.

Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in a saleable condition.

Please note that purchases completed in store have a different returns and cancellation procedure. Please check with your local store for more information.


Guarantee

Your purchase is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date the goods were received. In the unlikely event that you encounter an issue with the product, please contact our Customer Service department. They will do everything possible to resolve any issues promptly.


Privacy Policy

Beechmount Furniture Limited does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties except when order details are processed as part of order fulfillment. In such cases, the third party will not disclose any details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used, and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ option. They are also used after you have logged in as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ and selecting to block cookies.

Any data provided by the customer is used solely to process orders. Credit card details are not stored online, ensuring that no unauthorized person can gain access to them.
