SALES ASSISTANT DUTIES
Beechmount Furniture wish to hire two individuals for a Full and Part-time Sales Assistant position. Successful candidates should know that the role is effectively a customer service one. It involves helping to ensure customers have an enjoyable and pleasant experience and increasing the chances for returning customers.
The following duties for the roles are:
- Greeting customers in the store.
- Assisting and serving customers in order to help them find what they need. Providing customers with information on pricing and product availability.
- Making sure the store remains tidy and clean.
- Ensuring that items are arranged and displayed clearly.
- Helping to meet pre-determined sales targets.
- Processing payments and taking card and cash payments at Point-of-Sale.
- Handling customer complaints or handing customers on to management.
- Ensuring stock levels are well maintained.
